Bride finds out on wedding day that her husband-to-be is married and his family is hired

 


A bride got the greatest shock of her life after she discovered on her wedding day that her husband-to-be lied his way to marry her.

According to a Twitter user, @iam_liliane who claimed to have attended the wedding, the groom was a married man with kids but never told the bride about it till she discovered on the wedding day.

She further revealed that the husband-to-be hired people to stand in for him as his family members for the traditional and church wedding.

Her tweet reads,

“Wedding I went for yesterday, just finding out that the groom was married and hired people to stand in as his family for both traditional and church wedding. Such deceit! Bride is devastated and doesn’t know what to do. It was all a lie.”

Lillian’s tweet has however sparked reactions on social media, as many criticized the bride for not doing a background check on the groom before the wedding day.

@fabolousmezu wrote,

“In as much as this is horrible and despicable, but didn’t the bride or her family do any background check on her prospective husband before this day? Didnt she meet his parents, siblings etc during courtship?”
